Rare 18K GOLD PATEK PHILIPPE Pocket Watch retailed by BLACK STARR & FROST GORHAM INC. This watch has historical importance as it was presented to Louis J. Carruthers as President of the United States Lawn Tennis Association for his term as President from 1931 - 1932. The Association later ran the U. S. OPEN Tennis Tournament. The case measures about 44.1mm in diameter and about 54.6mm with its bow. This collectable item comes with its original Black Starr & Frost watch pouch. The watch is in excellent condition as can be seen in the pictures. The solid 18K gold case is beautiful with only some minor surface scratches. The dial is in very nice condition as well. The high grade movement looks great and has just been overhauled by our watchmaker and is keeping good time.
