The Double Pat Report

Father Pillar turned 81 years old on April 26th. He will be celebrating his 55th anniversary as a priest on June 5th. He has been at his current location in a senior living community for five years. He plans to stay for the long haul. He has diabetes, some back trouble and is legally blind. He spirits are good. He is often visited  by his brother and other family members. He has fond memories of being the moderator of ADG.

 I took a great photo of him after dinner tonight. Unfortunately, I forgot the mini USB cable used to upload it to my laptop. I will send it on Wednesday night. If you have to send out the letter before then feel free. I will reply to all with the photo when I get home.

"Padre" is living in Minnesota, where he grew up. The Delts reached out to Father Jim from the reunion just before his birthday on April 26. Word is that Father Jim got a real lift from that phone call, and immediately reached out to Vince Knipfing, retired VP of Student Affairs, to let him know. I called Fr. Jim on his birthday to let him know that we remembered him at the reunion Mass, and he was very pleased to hear that we said the ADG prayer after communion. Padre loves to hear from old Delts, so drop him a line!
